Queen's University Brass Band

The recently formed Queen’s University Brass Band brings together students and staff brass players from across the campus and from the wider brass community in Belfast and further afield. The group concentrates on senior band level repertoire, particularly those works specially written for brass band, and it also rehearses and performs some lighter concert works during the year. In 2010-11 the band will be hosting a contest in the Whitla Hall, taking part in an inter-varsity contest in England in February 2011, taking part in graduation ceremonies at Queen's and playing at charitable events around Belfast.
