INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM: UNDERSTANDING BACH'S B-MINOR MASS |
Belfast, 2-4 November 2007
These two volumes contain the material for participants to read before attending the International Symposium ‘Understanding Bach’s B-minor Mass’ which we hosted at Queen’s University Belfast from the 2nd to 4th November 2007. They were distributed to the registered participants of the symposium before the meeting.

Book One (356 pages) contains the written forms of the areas to be covered
by the presentations, which were expanded and illustrated by each speaker at the
symposium. Book Two (155 pages) is a ‘resource book’ consisting of (a) the reprint of those articles published some time ago which, in the organising committee’s view, are so vitally important that everyone must re-read them before gathering in Belfast, (b) those unpublished papers on the B-minor Mass that were read at recent conferences, and (c) a select bibliography of the scholarly discussions of the B-minor Mass. |

There is no spare copy left, but the interested reader should be able to find a copy from the UK copyright libraries (The British Library London, Cambridge University Library, Oxford University Library, National Library of Scotland, National Library of Wales, and Trinity College Dublin) as well as some other research libraries abroad (including the Bach-Archiv Leipzig).
